Top Hand stud dogs are carefully selected to be both tough working dogs as well as producers that will pass their characteristics on to future generations. Each dog is a result of years of selective breeding that brings toughness, bite, work, strength, size and great minds. All of the Top Hand studs are strong in all of these areas and they are producing offspring that carry the same great traits.

Top Hand stud services are available to outside qualified females. Qualified females must have proof of current vaccinations and health certificate.

DOG

As the cornerstone sire of the Top Hand Breeding program, Dog is by Casey Rindal's renowned dog CAP and out of BELL, a CAP Female.

This proven producer carries on the tradition of the late great dog CAP from Casey Rindal. The legacy of CAP is evident in DOG. The closeness of this stud dog's pedigree makes him great for more CAP crosses as well as out-crosses with females from other closely bred lines.

Why should I breed to DOG? This 5year old 50+lb border collie is a proven producer with tons of gather and bite, yet he is a joy to work with and remains the family pet. He is slick haired, prick eared, and conformationally correct with a broad-based frame and thick muscling. He has produced at least one red pup in all but one litter sired so the red color gene appears to be strongly passed on from DOG, regardless of the female's color. This broken coated black and white dog is deep bodied and can work all day, getting tougher as the day goes on. DOG has it all.

TH Sly

Big, stout and tough. This red and white, prick eared, slick haired male is by DOG out of TH Maggie. He is 18 months old and weighs 54 lbs.

He is working stock in the pasture and proving to be outstanding. A solid young stud dog. He is biddable, with tons of bite and work, combined with plenty of gather. A product of the the Top Hand breeding program, this dog will be one to watch.
